Challenge

RoadReady had just been acquired, and their website no longer reflected the company’s new direction. The old site was dated, text-heavy, and didn’t showcase their technology solutions. The team needed a redesign that aligned with their evolving brand while also being realistic to launch within a tight timeline.

Solution & Impact

As lead designer, I guided the redesign from start to finish. I worked closely with stakeholders to understand their new positioning, then translated that into a clean, modern experience that highlighted their tech solutions more clearly. To meet the launch deadline, I simplified design choices where needed, balancing fresh visual storytelling with patterns that developers could implement quickly.

Outcome

The redesigned site launched on time and was very well received by the client. It gave RoadReady a digital presence that better represented their growth and direction, creating a strong first impression post-acquisition.

Reflection

This project reinforced the value of designing not just for users, but also for the team building the product. I learned how much simplicity matters when timelines are tight, and that sometimes the best design choice is the one that developers can ship quickly and reliably. Next time, I’d push this further — leaning into more familiar patterns and even recommending a component library to streamline development without sacrificing clarity or quality.
